Seymour Ubell
Chairman
Seymour Ubell has spent most of his career in the print and advertising business. His clients are, and have been, the largest apparel, footwear, pharmaceutical, retail and consumer products companies in the world. Mr. Ubell founded JCEdward Corporation in 1995. His experience and skills in marketing, production, and customer service are the bedrock upon which JCEdward Corporation’s success have been built. He is a published author, lecturer, and raises funds for Parkinson’s research when he’s not at the theater with his wife, Marsha.
Edward Ubell
CEO
Edward Ubell grew up within JCEdward Corporation. With a degree in Art and Design from Bennington College and over 15 years of international sourcing experience, he combines a strong knowledge of production, process, and aesthetics to create luxury branded packaging for the world’s leading multinational brands. Additionally, Mr. Ubell oversees the firm’s Research & Development Department which keeps JCEdward Corporation on the cutting edge of sustainable material technologies. When he’s not managing the company’s vast operations, Mr. Ubell enjoys raising money for arts organizations, surfing and skiing, and is obsessed with tennis and the New York Mets.
Harry Kubetz
COO
Harry Kubetz studied Biology and Environmental Studies at Dartmouth College. He began his career as a systems engineer at IBM and eventually moved into the footwear industry where he spent thirty years in executive positions at Candies and Kennth Cole. Mr. Kubetz now uses his sourcing expertise and administrative abilities to oversee JCEdward Corporation’s special projects, handle the day-to-day operations of the firm, and open up new markets for production. He is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish and breeds English bulldogs who snore loudly.
Larry Cui
Global Head of Production
Larry Cui joined JCEdward Corporation in 2004 as the firm’s Accounting Department Manager. As the company grew, he expanded his mandate to production, learning the intricacies of product and project management. He now directly manages JCEdward Corporation’s large staff of Product Development, Production, and Quality Assurance officers on four continents. His practical and innovative ideas make him an integral member of JCEdward Corporation’s management as he works with clients to develop their brand and turn their concepts into product. Mr. Cui is fluent in English and Chinese, holds a degree from Queens College in New York, and enjoys fishing with his kids.
Joseph Hsu
Managing Director, Asia Operations
Born in Taiwan, educated in Europe, and based in JCEdward Corporation’s Asia headquarters in Dongguan, China, Joseph Hsu brings 15 years of production experience to JCEdward Corporation. He is at the helm of the company’s Asia Operation, coordinating a vast network of factories and mills throughout the continent. It is through Mr. Hsu’s efforts that the firm delivers it’s high quality products and competitive pricing and his is the linchpin between the organization and its clients’ Asia based factories and agents. He holds a degree from the Institute of Technology in Taipei as well as ARS ARPEL in Milan and is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English. When he’s not coordinating a global supply chain, Mr. Hsu can be found training for marathons or on the softball diamond in Dongguan. He says he hits many home runs.
